Further Work with Vectors

In this module of Maths Extension 2, you will expand your understanding vectors and consider their application within three-dimensional spaces, and how lines or curves can be described as vectors with a parameter. You will learn how to perform the operations you are already familiar with with three-dimensional vectors, and how these can be used to solve problems in three-dimensional space.

In this section you will learn about three-dimensional vectors and how to perform vector operations on these, as well as how to perform geometric proofs in three dimensions

Vectors and vector equations of lines

In this section you will learn how to describe lines and curves using a parameterised vector equation, and how these can be converted to the function definitions you are already familiar with. You will also learn how to prove geometric relationships between lines and planes in two- and three-dimensional space.
