Calculus: Further Integration

In this module of Maths Extension 2, you will learn some advanced techniques for solving problems in integral calculus. You will how to find relationships between different integrals, and how we use these relationships to solve problems.

Integration of Rational Functions

In this section you will learn techniques related to solving integration of rational functions. You will learn how some problems can be solved by rearragement and/or substitution, and how some problems can be decomposed into partial fractions.

Integration by Parts

In this section, you will learn how we can transform an integral using integration by parts into an expression we can integrate directly. You will also learn how we can use this technique multiple times to establish a set of linear equations we can solve, or even a recurrence relationship that we can use to solve an integral without directly integrating it.
